Bhakta Kavi Narsinh Mehta University (BKNMU) is a State University established in 2015 by the Government of Gujarat and is situated in Junagadh. The vision for the university was initiated by Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and further brought to life under the leadership of Honorable former Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shrimati Anandiben Patel. Recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), BKNMU has established itself as a significant educational institution in the region. The university has jurisdiction over the districts of Junagadh, Porbandar, Gir Somnath, and Devbhumi Dwarka.
The campus of BKNMU spans 150 acres and operates as a full-time educational institution. It offers 75 courses across 10 academic streams, catering to co-educational learners. With a faculty strength of 21, BKNMU provides online and offline modes for application submission.
