University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) was established in 1971 as a Constituent College under the University of Delhi. It aims to provide holistic education to its students at its best. Admission 2022-23 is under process. The admission procedure is very easy and transparent. The students need to appear in NEET UG who wish to seek admission in the undergraduate programs. And NEET PG for the ones who wish to seek admission in postgraduate programs. 

The University is also associated with Guru Teg Bahadur, a teaching hospital with 1000 beds. There are in total 21 departments in UCMS with a wide range of courses. The college runs various medical and paramedical courses giving students a plethora of courses to choose from. The college aims to provide quality education with its undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs. The college consists of some of the eminent faculty on expert groups of WHO, UNICEF, World Bank, ICMR, NACO, World Bank, UNAIDS, DST, and CSIR.

UCMS Admission

University College of Medical Sciences [UCMS], Delhi admission 2022-23 are in process. The application form is available in both offline and online mode. Applicants can fill the form in online mode and can collect it from the University as well after paying the application fee. The selection will be based on merit and the scores obtained by the candidate in the NEET UG for undergraduate courses and NEET PG for postgraduate courses. 

UCMS Eligibility Criteria

UCMS admissions are granted based on candidates' NEET UG and NEET PG results (depending upon the level of degree). It should be noted that NEET is mandatory for candidates who wish to study medicine in India. It is also mandatory for candidates who wish to study medicine abroad but wish to come back to India for practice. The eligibility details for some of the courses offered at the institute are mentioned below 

M.B.B.S Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates should have passed 10+2 in the Science stream with a minimum of 60% from a recognized board.
• The candidate should have qualified for the NEET UG examination.

M.Sc Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates should have completed B.Sc in Radiology or Medical Imaging Technology from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks.

MD / MS Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate should have an MBBS degree.
• The candidates should have qualified NEET PG.

UCMS Cutoff

UCMS cutoff 2022 will be released soon. The cutoff is based on the NEET Entrance examination scores. Candidates need to score minimum qualifying marks to apply for further admission process. Admission to various UG and PG courses is based on the college's cutoff criteria and eligibility norms and procedures. Cutoff of NEET UG score is used for admission into various UG courses and cutoff of NEET PG is used for admission to various PG courses.

UCMS Placements

University College of Medical Sciences [UCMS], Delhi placements 2022 are in process. According to UCMS NIRF report 2021, a total of 46 students were placed out of 123 students during UCMS UG (5-year) placements 2020. Further, the median package offered during UCMS Delhi UG (5-year) placements 2021 was INR 12.50 LPA. Apart from this, 89 students were placed out of 142 students during University College of Medical Science PG (3-year) placements 2021. The median package offered during UCMS PG (3-year) placements 2021 was INR 17 LPA.
