SSC JE Exam Application 2026: How to Fill Form

Filling out the SSC JE application form requires a stable internet connection and a compatible browser such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. The application process is completed in sequential stages, and once the final submission is done, changes are not allowed.

Step 1: One-Time Registration

  • Visit the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in

  • Click on "New User? Register Now" under the login section

  • Enter Aadhaar details or an alternative ID such as PAN Card, Voter ID, or Passport

  • Provide personal details including name, parents’ names, date of birth, gender, and Class 10 information

  • A unique Registration ID and password are generated and sent via SMS and email for future use

Step 2: Login and Part 1 Completion

  • Log in using the Registration ID and password

  • Select SSC JE 2026 from the notice board

  • Upload scanned images as per specifications

    • Photograph: 20 to 50 KB, JPG format, 100 x 120 pixels

    • Signature: 10 to 20 KB, JPG format, 140 x 60 pixels

  • Enter educational qualification details

  • Select post preferences for Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Junior Engineer positions across departments such as CPWD and MES

  • Choose up to three preferred exam centers
