Nagaon Gopinath Dev Goswami Commerce College, [NGDGCC] Assam

Established on September 24, 1984, Nagaon Gopinath Dev Goswami Commerce College is the premier institution for commerce education in central Assam. Initially named Nagaon Commerce College, it was renamed in honor of Late Gopinath Dev Goswami, a distinguished son of Nagaon. The college moved to its current location in Panigaon in 1991 and is affiliated with Gauhati University. With a legacy of excellence, it began with 139 students and now serves a diverse student body.

Academic Programs:

NGDGCC offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs:

• Undergraduate Courses:

  • Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

  • Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) with Honours in Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, and Mathematics

Admission Process:

Admissions are merit-based, with specific eligibility criteria for each program. For instance, candidates applying for B.Com must have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination with at least 50% marks. The college also reserves seats for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/PWD categories. For M.Com, candidates must pass the Common Entrance Test conducted by Gauhati University.
